Water sanitation may be the most dire problem that our world faces today. Two billion people live without the basic necessity of abundant clean water. In America, we take for granted, the luxury of having clean running water delivered into our homes.
This sample campaign attempts to bring to light the serious state of the world's water supply and to bring into question our complacency as others suffer. The illustrative style seems inviting until you observe the message being delivered. A sense of shock and perhaps embarrassment at suddenly being aware of the situation should result. Each part of this campaign has a process of revealing. In the bathroom you will see pipe stickers on the floor leading from the toilet to the sink. Then, when you enter the stall you will observe the poster expressing the global problem with sewage contamination. In addition, the mailer will be received and seem quite like an invitation to a pool party. Then as it is opened it will reveal information about toxic dumping in drinking water supplies. Each of these mediums then direct the viewer to CharityWater.org
